WHY

  • More ease – Personalized support and feedback for all skill levels and interests from an experienced writing coach and teacher
  • More efficiency – Chisel a little time out of summer to knock this out while still savoring and maximizing your summer break vibes
  • Effective structure – Be guided through the process one step at a time while I scaffold the work, grow skills and help to meet desired deadlines
  • Less stress – Save your time and energy for other priorities like college apps, academics and extracurriculars, friends, rest and family
  • More joy and connection – Let me take the brunt of the grunt work while making time for parents to connect with their soon-to-be graduate

OK, BUT WHAT IF???

  • What if I don’t finish two essays in the 10 sessions? I got you! During our time together I will kindly but firmly guide you through the process, helping you structure your time and space sessions out to meet your need for time to write or revise. If you are truly struggling to complete work, I will pause sessions for a family discussion and agreement around how best to proceed. If you go through the process and simply need more than the initial 10 sessions to refine for your best work, let’s discuss a simple add-on package to put the finishing touches on your essays so you can feel good about hitting submit!
  • What if I have no idea where I am going to college? No worries! Every college has essays and supplementals, not to mention there are competitive scholarship apps and other valuable opportunities where you will want to have some writing in your back pocket that you can count on AND ensure you max out the first come, first served scholarship and funding!
  • What if I have no idea what to write? You are not alone! I LOVE helping teens have those aha! moments where they feel the ease and creative freedom to tell their story. Plus, I can help you to keep your voice authentic while also drawing in those college admissions readers. We will find words, moments and messages that feel true and meaningful to you!
  • What if I have already started on my essays? That’s great! Let’s talk about a limited session package to zero in on that polish and pizazz and make that essay feel like you AND feel so good … and so good to be done!
